J. Michael Knight

Michael Knight, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PGI Solutions LLC, has been working in the voice/data network communications industry and security for thirty years. He created PGI's patent pending Discovery ThreadingTM process and is known for his innovative, unique solutions in the field of technical research & development in data network communication. His project history includes the development of India’s distant e-Learning for over one million remote villages, third generation (3G) cellular for Motorola, NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory Deep Space Research, Kennedy Space Center’s Space Shuttle program, the Pentagon, United Health Care, DISA, Iridium, Alyeska Pipeline, US Air Force, US Navy, and the US Coast Guard. He has participated in the development of the EIA/TIA standards.

Barbara Yetter

Barbara is a Founder and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of PGI Solutions LLC, with over twenty years of experience as a manager/controller in the manufacturing industry. Not only does Barbara bring her experience in financial management, but she also brings twenty years experience in management and implementation of MRP & ERP systems. Barbara manages the finances for PGI Solutions and participates in building a cost effective system for PGI and its customers.

Sanford F. George

Sandy George is a Founder and Chief Technical Officer (CTO) of PGI Solutions LLC. Sandy has worked in the networking and data communications field since 1980, and currently assists in the management of Los Nettos at the High Performance Computing Center at the University of Southern California. He is also the lead engineer for the Los Angeles Access Point (LAAP) project. Prior to his work at USC, Sandy managed the multi-protocol routing infrastructure at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory at the California Institute of Technology. He held the position of Routing Center Manager for the Southwest region of the NASA Science Internet, NASA Science Network, and the Space Physics Analysis Network (SPAN). Sandy is Cisco certified as a CCNA, CCNP and CSE.

Thomas Liffiton

Tom Liffiton, PGI's Chief Security Officer (CSO), works directly with clients on security policies, on investigations, and analysis of acquired data. He also speaks to clients and group audiences about the capabilities and uses of Discovery ThreadingTM for compliance, security, incident response, and network forensics. For clients regulated by the Communications Assistance to Law Enforcement Act (CALEA), such as Internet Service Providers (ISPs), he keeps abreast of developments and maintains liaison with the law enforcement community. Tom joined PGI Solutions, LLC, after retiring as a Special Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). During his twenty-three years as an Agent and as a Supervisory Special Agent, Tom worked in the Counterintelligence and Computer Crime Programs. Currently he is also an adjunct instructor teaching classes in digital evidence and legal issues of technology at the University of Advancing Technology.

Timothy P. Helm

Tim Helm, Vice President in charge of Investigations, gives PGI Solutions, LLC an East Coast capability for customer relations and investigations as he is based in North Carolina. He joined the company after twenty-six years of active military service in the U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Coast Guard. Chief Warrant Officer Helm was assigned several commands during his career and received numerous awards including the Presidential Service Badge under Presidents Carter and Reagan and the Presidential Citation Badge. As the project officer in the Coast Guard, he implemented that agency's Distance Learning Center (DLC) Network, first to the CG Sector Key West and then to all Florida Keys Coast Guard Stations. PGI's Discovery Threading was first used as a proof of concept in the Coast Guard network. On behalf of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Tim and Michael Knight made presentations across the United States to stimulate what is now known as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
